Telling Daddy

We were trying since July 2018 for #3 ( it needs a nick name). We got a positive test in August but lost the baby the next day so I'm not sure what happened. But regardless after 7 long months, 4 days of thinking my period would come any day as it certainly felt like it, and being one day late I took an a pregnancy test just because I couldn't help it. It got the faint double line almost instantly, which is odd as all my other pregnancies took between 3-7 days late to test positive. I was in shock and took two more which both positive. I was so excited but as this is our last baby I wanted to tell brad in a fun way, so I kept my mouth shut. I got the positive Wednesday, February 7, and didn't tell him until Saturday, February, 10. Baby #3 18 weeks

Due Date October 17

How far along? 18 weeks 3 days

Total weight gain/loss: -6 pounds and growing
Maternity clothes? I have started missing them in but they are loose

Stretch marks? on goodness please no
Sleep: like a log and I wake up to tiny baby kicks I love this time in pregnancy 

Best moment this week: Brad feeling the little bean kick for the first time

Miss Anything? my normal appetite... I feel like I'm the hungry caterpillar this week. I'm never full  

Movement: The kicks can be felt on the outside now and the heart beat found easily on the Doppler

Food cravings: Just food everything and anything! This is a problem

Anything making you queasy or sick: No I've been luck again

Have you started to show yet: Oh yeah! But its still at the cute stage like how I looked at 28 weeks with the other two (crying)

Gender prediction: I can still wear normal pants so I'm carrying this sweet potatoe high. That says boy to me.

Labor Signs: I think I'm starting to feel Braxton hicks a little after work outs

Belly Button in or out? in
Wedding rings on or off? still loose from all the weight loss
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy this week I've had a ton of energy and have been rocking it

Looking forward to:  Still this  -> The 20 week ultra sound. We didn't do a real 12 week so it will be nice to know that the baby is healthy and to make some decisions about where he or she will be born. I don't feel like I can relax until this happens. June 6th baby!!!

Baby #3 16 weeks

Due Date October 17

How far along? 16 weeks 4 days

Total weight gain/loss: -7 pounds looks like the number is starting to climb
Maternity clothes? I can swing both but still in normal jeans

Stretch marks? none to be found
Sleep: I sleep the sleep of a parent

Best moment this week: hearing the heart beat at the 16 week appointment 

Miss Anything? This week it was beer only because I got to go to a Mariners game and we had a suite (all the beer you could drink) and only Seattle tap water (which tastes awful) 

Movement: I can definitely feel this little one dancing around

Food cravings: Diet soda weirdly which I'm trying to avoid 

Anything making you queasy or sick: Ironically beer which is a good thing

Have you started to show yet: Yup people can officially tell by just looking at me

Gender prediction: I'm thinking a boy but a sister for Rowan would be nice. Though Rowan has changed her vote to boy.

Labor Signs: Nope.

Baby #3 13 weeks

Due Date October 17

How far along? 13 weeks 1 day

Total weight gain/loss: -10 pounds. Amazing how many calories are in wine
Maternity clothes? in between, they aren't needed but I like them

Stretch marks? gosh I hope not since I avoided them with my last two
Sleep: I love the second trimester, I'm back to sleeping

Best moment this week: getting everyone over the flu

Miss Anything? Wine, but I like to think it misses me

Movement: I stated feeling flutters this week

Food cravings: root beer floats

Anything making you queasy or sick: The stomach flue

Have you started to show yet: Yes! I was so freaked out I made them double check last week there was only one baby

Gender prediction: I'm thinking a boy but can't really say why,. But either would be wonderful

Labor Signs: Nope.

37 weeks 6 days

How far along? 37 weeks, 6 days

Maternity Clothes: If it is not a maxi dress or maternity dress, I'm not wearing it. She is so low that any kind of pants are uncomfortable.
Total weight gain: 25 pounds!! For not ever having the energy to work out I'm pretty proud of this. I worked out every day I was prego with Rourke and I'm still at the same weight I was when I was 37 weeks along with our oldest monster. Just not in shape...
Stretch marks? None! But the true test will be after I have her is any appear...
Sleep:  I wake up about three times a night to pee... then Rourke waked up at 6:30 every morning.
Best moment this week: Hitting the 37 week mark for sure! I can have my midwife/water birth now. Well that is if we make it to Everett aka the Birth Center before our little miss comes.
Miss Anything? Sleep... but I have this weord feeling that even after she comes that I won't be getting that back.
Movement:  She has really slowed down but when she does move it is in a big way. I think she is running out of room in there,
Food cravings: Still icecream and candy, grrrrr
Anything making you queasy or sick: No not really any more, the heart burn has gotten so much better
Labor Signs: Random stupid contractions, cramping, baby has dropped, Braxton hicks.... yeah they are all there
Symptoms: Nope actually feeling pretty great, forgot I kind of don't mind being pregnant. Maybe we will have three...
Belly Button in or out? Oh it is out! 
Wedding rings on or off? I need to put it on so I'm wearing it during her birth but it is a little tight
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy but I can turn into a real... well not nice person at the drop of a hat.
Looking forward to: This Sunday I'm having a "go into labor day" aka a girls day this time as I'm not getting the acupuncture or medical massage. Just a long walk, foot massage, and some spicy Tai food. Who knows with the full  moon on Monday maybe I'll get my 9-9-2014 baby ;)

36 weeks 4 days

How far along? 36  weeks, 4 days
Maternity Clothes: rocking the maxi dresses
Total weight gain:  24 pounds and holding strong
Stretch marks?  If I don't swell then I should be good
Sleep: Amazing!! I'm so tired at night I sleep through everything
Best moment this week:  getting our family pictures back and finishing with work
Miss Anything?  Not being huge but also beer
Movement: lots of hiccups and big movements but slowing down
Food cravings:  chocolate
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!!! Been two weeks since I've  had to be sick
Labor Signs: no just Braxton hicks
Symptoms:  Pain if I sit too long
Belly Button in or out?  out like a turkey timer
Wedding rings on or off?  still fits
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!! We are ready!
Looking forward to:  Being done with work! Today is my last day and then it is just sit back and wait.

34 weeks 3 days

How far along? 34 weeks 3 days
Total weight gain/loss: 154- 24 pounds, ironically I weigh as much as I did with Rourke by this stage. I just started this pregnancy out thinner. If I can stay under 160 I'll be one happy girl.

Maternity clothes? It is not pretty if I try non maternity pants or shirts 

 Stretch marks? Still rocking the no stretch marks

Sleep: Like a log! After running around chasing Rourke all day I sleep pretty soundly

Best moment this week: Going to Idaho and seeing my Mahoney family and of course my Mom's visit

Miss Anything? Not having a headache

Movement: We see whole body parts daily and it kind of hurts

Food cravings:  Sour stuff

Anything making you queasy or sick: If I eat too much too fast

Have you started to show yet: I'm basically a whale

Gender: Soooooo much pink!

Labor Signs: Braxton hicks contractions  and cramping
Belly Button in or out? Out... I hope it goes back in

Wedding rings on or off? Off my nickel allergy is back

Happy or Moody most of the time: Moody... poor Brad

Looking forward to: My last photography job this weekend and hearing her heart beat tomorrow
